Mission Blue is an international ocean conservation non-profit led by TED prize winner Dr. Sylvia Earle. When the organization came to Cut Canvas in 2012, their online presence and individual online donations were modest. We worked with them to design, launch and implement an ambitious multi-channel content marketing campaign in both the paid and organic arenas. Today, the brand has nearly 1 million followers on social media, one of the largest email lists in their specialized field and they take in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in individual donations.

 
 

A critical piece of this partnership has included producing videos from the various oceanic expeditions Mission Blue has conducted throughout the world. From the chilly waters of the Arctic to the azure wonder of Micronesia, we have captured compelling video content and edited into deliverables designed to keep feeding the fundamental drive of our partnership: brand awareness and individual donations.
